Previously scheduled for Dec. 1, the arraignment will be held at the Alhambra Courthouse, 150 W. Commonwealth Ave., Department 5.
Kikuchi, 56, faces two dozen sex-related counts involving a female high school student. He resigned as a coach on Sept. 15 and was released on bail after being arrested on Sept. 24.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office formally charged Kikuchi on Oct. 23, adding several counts.
Prosecutors presented Judge Jared Moses with text messages between Kikuchi and the alleged victim, saying that he threatened her when she tried to break off the relationship, while the defense presented several letters of support from friends, relatives, former players and colleagues.
The bail amount was raised, Kikuchi was remanded into custody, and he was released on bail the following day.
