Coming Together to Honor AAPI Military Members and Veterans

Giving a voice to communities all across America has been a hallmark of President Obama’s administration. Dec. 5, 2016 marked yet another milestone, as the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) convened the first National Forum for AAPI Military Members and Veterans at the National Women in Military Service Memorial, Arlington Cemetery.

As a member of President’s Advisory Commission on AAPIs, it was a privilege to continue the conversation in an ongoing journey for the AAPI community.
