The Rafu Shimpo and Japanese Living Legacy have joined together to create a keepsake book, "Proud To Serve." With over 400 pages, the book contains names of 20,000 Nisei men and women who served during World War II from the 100th Battalion, 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Military Intelligence Service, 1399th Battalion, Women Army Corps, and other units.
