“Blindly in Love” (2013, 117 minutes), directed by Masahide Ichii, will be screened on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. at the Japan Foundation Los Angeles Auditorium, 5700 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 100, in Los Angeles.

Unable to make friends, he spends his days just going back and forth between home and his workplace. His worried parents participate in a matchmaking event where the parents act as envoys. There, a marriage meeting is set up with Naoko (Kaho), a blind girl.
