‘Boogie at the Bonenkai’ on Dec. 30

Say goodbye to the Year of the Rooster and hello to the Year of the Dog while supporting a good cause.

“Boogie at the Bonenkai,” a year-end dance party to benefit the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center, will be held Saturday, Dec. 30, from 7 p.m. at Nishi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St. in Los Angeles.

Presented by Friends of JACCC, the party will feature dancing with music by Kokoro and Friends, bento, appetizers, dessert, and a bonenkai toast. Dressy casual attire.

The cost is $75 per person. Tables for 10 are $750 (Patron) and $1,500 (Corporate). RSVP by Friday, Dec. 15.
